Kaspersky Labs was the first vendor to partner with Entensys to provide this type of security software. Over a decade of Kaspersky’s expertise ensures rapid responses to new risks, providing users with virus removal tools and software to proactively combat threats. The Kaspersky Labs’ Virus Lab has one of the largest collections of virus definitions in the world, with over 200,000 definitions and counting. Implemented in the core of UserGate, it works as a filter for all data transferred through all major Internet protocols. It monitors all Internet traffic, selects potentially threatening objects, and analyzes them for viruses and spyware.

 

Meeting the requests of our customers in early 2007, Entensys partnered with another powerful antivirus vendor – Panda Security. Equally as powerful as Kaspersky Antivirus engine, Panda Antivirus engine added an important security feature to UserGate: dual-antivirus threat protection for customers that require the highest possible level of protection

بسیار مهم است تا اطمینان حاصل شود که همه ترافیک ورودی به یک شبکه محلی در برابر ویروس و جاسوس افزار ها محافظت شده باشد. یوزرگیت شامل 2 آنتی ویروس  - کسپراسکی و پاندا -  می باشد که می تواند بصورت انتخابی ، امکان  کنترل ترافیک ورودی و خارجی بروی HTTP, FTP,SMTP و POP3  را توسط 2 آنتی ویروس  فراهم سازد.

مهم است که توجه داشته باشید که  بکار بردن یک یا دو آنتی ویروس  در یوزرگیت ، برای محافظت کامل شبکه در برابر ویروسها کافی نمی باشد ، مگر اینکه بطور کامل تمام ابزارهای قابل جابجایی در تمام رایانه های شخصی در شبکه  مسدود شده باشند.
